Lisa - meets celebrities at CF reception at the Rideau Club

At a reception for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 50th Anniversary at the famous Rideau Club in the Nation’s Capital, our Lisa, Ontario Vice-Regional Representative on the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Committee (ACFC) hob knobbed with Canadian personalities and celebrities.

Seen in this picture (top left then clockwise) Lyndon Slewidge - the voice behind our national anthem at Ottawa Senators hockey games, Jim Flaherty - Honorable Member of Parliament and Minister of Finance, Cathleen Morrison - CF Foundation and Len Cariou - Canadian actor.

Lisa also met Mila Mulroney (centre), wife of the 18th Prime Minister of Canada - Brian Mulroney and long time supporter of the Foundation since 1985.  “It was an honor to meet Mila.  I am grateful for the time she took with me as her sincerity was evident during our converstion.  What a wonderful person to have with us at CF”, said Lisa.

Next year’s 2011 AGM will take place in Sherbrook, Quebec.
